Alaverdoba is an annual festival of harvesting and wine-making. The participants in this event will have the pleasure to degust the finest winemaker’s and monastery wines of Georgia.
Program
Making a program description about Georgia is an ungrateful endeavor. The space of this country is not just unique; it defines the course of life there in accordance with a higher will that is not readily understandable to a mere mortal. If there is a country of God on the face of this Earth today, without a doubt, this would be Georgia! The air, the soil, the people and, of course, the wine with its age-long traditions make this place so hospitable and so distinctly different from all other locations. Despite its tumultuous history, Georgia readily welcomes every open-hearted visitor that would like to explore it.
Georgians believe that any person should visit a holy place at least once a year to purify one’s heart and to take a look at one’s life from a distance. And if we choose to follow their advice and do so in a country that can qualify as perfect, Georgia is the place to go. Spending time there means experiencing a truly mysterious space and it is precisely the mystery of the country that the Alaverdoba program is intended to introduce you to.
